Last Saturday familiar faces, and new ones, gathered at the annual German Christmas market* hosted by the Atlanta International School (AIS) to start off the holiday season.
With over 25 tents, the market featured handcrafted European Christmas gifts and decorations as well as arts and crafts for children.
Students from the AIS filled the air with traditional Christmas carols sung in German, English and Spanish. Delicious plates of Bratwurst, Stollen, Waffles and festive Glühwein mugs completed the cozy winter atmosphere.
We snuggled in warm blankets as we spread the joy of heavenly handmade Wendt & Kühn** angels. Despite the cold, we had a fabulous time and we were happy to help families get their Christmas shopping done.
We wish you a wonderful holiday season!

*The main mission of this market is to be a cultural event and to provide visibility for the German program at Atlanta International School.
