On August 28, we held our 7th Annual German Bierfest in Woodruff Park, downtown Atlanta. It was hard work, it was fun and now, a little over a week later, we’ve almost wrapped it all up! I had the opportunity to sit down with Britta Lipke, who was responsible, along with Friederike Munzinger, for doing the majority of the planning this year.
She explained to me that “organizing our 7th Annual German Bierfest has been an extraordinary experience. Although I was glad when it was finally over, I enjoyed seeing it all come together. Getting positive feedback from our guests boosted my mood even more. Everything went rather smoothly, and although I would have preferred not getting accidentally hit in the face with a soccer ball (at our Soccer Torwand), fortunately there was no visible proof afterward. 🙂 All things considered, I loved our Bierfest (seemed like everyone loved it) and I loved how our staff worked together as a team. This was truly a great event!”
Thank you to all of those who were able to join us. If you weren’t able to, we’ll just see you next year! Please check out pictures from Bierfest here.
