The Halle Foundation Fellowship Program takes over our Board Room

What do you get when you put 18 students determined to spend the summer interning in Germany in the same room? A Halle Foundation Fellowship program orientation session, that’s what.

Last Friday, the GACC South had the honor of hosting such a session in our Porsche Boardroom. Coming from all walks of life, each of these students is interested in and passionate about spending time not only in Germany, but also in a German work environment. The internship assignments for the students vary from working with the German NFL to an IHK and will last approximately three months starting in late May.

We here at the Chamber think that this is an excellent program for some extraordinary young people and we are happy to have been included! If you’d like more information on the program, feel free to check out the Halle Foundation Fellowship’s website.

Oh, and don’t forget to check out the pictures I took in the middle of their orientation on Friday—I’m sure it wasn’t annoying for them in the slightest.
