As the workday comes to a close, so does a certain “era” of the GACC South—we’ll call it the “Stegmeier Era.”
After six and a half productive years at the Chamber, our Vice President and Director of Consulting Services, Martina Stegmeier, will be heading back to Germany. Today is her last day of work here at the chamber, although she will be in the country for a few more weeks.
In May, Martina will graduate with her Executive MBA at Emory University. She has been pursuing this degree while simultaneously fulfilling challenging roles here at the GACC South, and now it is time to move forward and see what else she can conquer.
As the (quite unofficial) spokesperson for our office, it is nothing less than fact when I say that Martina will be missed. Her unwavering dedication, in combination with that hearty laugh frequently heard from her office, is something we’ve all grown accustomed to. She is someone who can never be replaced and while we support her decision to move on, there is a certain degree of selfishness in all of us that makes it hard to let go.
We wish Martina nothing but the best of luck in all of her future endeavors and will stand behind her for support along whichever route she chooses.
