See how we do it in the south

Another Annual Gala has come and gone with a flurry of place cards, silent auction items, Hansekogge centerpieces and wonderful memories in its wake. This year was our 16th, sponsored by our Patron, the German Federal State of Bremen and our Partner, BLG Logistics. As always, we were extremely lucky to have a wide variety of amazing guests and dignitaries, to whom we are very appreciative of their time. Take a look at the picture below to see just a few of our special dignitaries.

Dr. Lutz Görgens - Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mission to Atlanta, Detthold Aden - President, CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board of BLG LOGISTICS GROUP AG & Co. KG, Senator Martin Günthner - Minister for Economic Affairs, Labour and Ports, Minister for Justice and Constitution, German Federal State of Bremen, Dr. Peter Ammon - Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the US, Steven Markham - President, BLG Logistics, Inc. and Vice Chairman of the GACC South Board of Directors, Kristian Wolf - President & CEO, GACC South

Of course, after dressing to the nines on Saturday evening, we had to make sure our German visitors got a true taste of the south, so we took them to Fat Matt’s Rib Shack. After eating a wonderful St. Regis three-course meal the evening before, they got to enjoy an equally wonderful, down and dirty, eat with your hands, set of southern ribs.

We hope all of our Gala attendees had a wonderful time and we look forward to seeing each of you again next year at the 17th Annual Gala. For now, you can reminisce about the evening by taking a look at all of the pictures here.
