Each year, the GACC South takes the pleasure of hosting members and friends of the German-American business community to celebrate the chamber’s Annual Gala.
In its 17th year the GACC South welcomed 500 guests at the prestigious St. Regis Atlanta to celebrate the relationships that have anchored German-American business community throughout the year.
Every year, the Gala reaffirms the strength of the transatlantic connection between Germany and the United States and this year was no different.
Throughout the evening, speeches were given by our special guests, including the Lieutenant Governor of Georgia Casey Cagle, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany Christoph Sander, and Minister Peter Fischer (Head of Economic Affairs at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Washington, DC). Each spoke on how the partnership between the two nations is immeasurable in its depths, uncontainable in its breadth, and inexhaustible in its essence.
Like in previous years, the evening closed with a program filled with music, dancing, and the GACC South Silent Auction.
It goes without saying the evening would not have been possible without the help of many. The GACC South would like to graciously thank all of our table sponsors and participants for their continued fellowship, commitment and support at this influential event. We would also like to thank our official beer sponsor NRW.INVEST LLC and our wine contributor Foley Timber and Land Company.
We hope to share more moments with everyone during our gatherings throughout the upcoming year and look forward to joining you again at our 18th Annual Gala in 2013.
